2-Chloro-5-(Chloromethyl)pyridine is used as an intermediate in the production of pharmaceuticals, agrochemicals, and other organic compounds. It is also used as a catalyst in organic synthesis, as a reagent in the synthesis of other compounds, and as a reactant in the synthesis of polymers. Additionally, 2-Chloro-5-(Chloromethyl)pyridine has been used in the synthesis of a variety of heterocyclic compounds, including pyridines, quinolines, and pyridazinones. Finally, 2-Chloro-5-(Chloromethyl)pyridine is used as an intermediate in the synthesis of various pharmaceuticals, including antibacterial agents, antiviral agents, anti-inflammatory agents, and antitumor agents.
