4-Nitro-L-Phenylalanine Hydrate (H-Phe(4-NO2)-OH∙H2O) (CAS: 949-99-5) is used in peptide synthesis, reaction type: solution phase peptide synthesis. Used as an organic synthesis intermediate, pharmaceutical intermediate, biochemical reagent or chemical reagent.
Preparation method L-Phenylalanine 16.5g (mmol) was dissolved in 50ml of 85% H2SO4, it was added dropwise with stirring to a mixed acid of concentrated hno3-concentrated H2SO4 (V/V:1.4/1.1) preconfigured and cooled to room temperature, and the reaction was stirred at room temperature for 5H, the reaction solution was adjusted to pH2-3 with 40% NaOH to produce a large amount of precipitate. The precipitate was filtered, washed with water until neutral, and dried under reduced pressure to obtain 4-nitro-l-phenylalanine.
