Synthesis of optically active glucopyranoses. Synthesis of long-chain alkyl glucofuranosides. D-Glucuronolactone (CAS: 32449-92-6) is used for treating cure various hepatitis, icterus and liver obstruction, rheumatism and also used as the antidote for pharmic poisoning, food poisoning and self poisoning and additive for beverage and feed additive. Glucuronolactone is a naturally occurring chemical that is an important structural component of nearly all connective tissues. D-Glucuronolactone (CAS: 32449-92-6) is also found in many plant gums.
