3,5-Dibromopyridine (CAS: 625-92-3) is an important pharmaceutical intermediate and an raw material of active pharmaceutical ingredients.The reaction conditions for the synthesis of 3, 5-Dibromopyridine are very demanding because the aromatic electrophilic antichemicalbook formation of pyridine is much slower than that of benzene, often requiring drastic reaction conditions and usually only 3-position substitution reactions. 3-Acetylamino-5-Ethoxypyridine was prepared by converting 3, 5-Dibromopyridine with sodium ethylate into 3-Bromo-5-Ethoxypyridine, allowing this substance to interact with ammonia and acetylating the aminoethoxypyridine thus formed with acetic anhydride. Down-stream products: 3-Amino-5-Hydroxypyridine; 3-Amino-5-Bromopyridine; 5-Methoxy-Pyridine-3-Carbaldehyde; 3-(Benzyloxy)-5-Bromopyridine and etc.
