Sodium Benzoate (CAS: 532-32-1) is commonly used as food preservatives in food industry, odorless or with slight smell of benzoin, and tastes sweet astringency. Stable in air, can absorb moisture in open air. 1. It is mainly used as a food preservative, but also for making drugs, dyes, etc. 2. It is used in pharmaceutical industry and plant genetic research, as well as dye intermediates, fungicides and preservatives. 3. Preservatives; Antimicrobial agents. 4.
